Meteor 1.3 makes it simple to use npm packages in client code. Where previously we had to use a wrapped atmosphere package or include the lib directly, now we can simply import npm packages using ES6 modules.

To include these libraries in a package we need to do two things.

1) Add them to our Npm.depends block in our package.js file.

Npm.depends({
  "moment": "2.12.0",
  "moment-timezone": "0.5.3",
  "twix": "0.9.0"
});

2) Import them to any .js file we plan to use them in.

import moment from "moment";
import "twix";
import "moment-timezone";
